Dominique Stevens

Veteran Initiatives Manager

Dominique Stevens is the Manager of Veteran Initiatives at the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, where she is dedicated to supporting and empowering veterans through innovative programs and strategic partnerships.

Prior to working at the Foundation, Dominique served as the Senior Manager of Health and Wellness for Windy City Harvest, the urban agriculture department of the Chicago Botanic Garden, where she oversaw the Veteran Internship Program, Horticultural Therapy, and farm contracts. She joined the Garden in 2021, bringing a wealth of organizational and leadership experience from her prior work as an executive assistant across various industries.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Dominique served as a Hospital Corpsman. She graduated with distinction from DePaul University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health and Healthcare Policy and Practice. Dominique lives on Chicago’s West Side with her husband, two sons, and two cats, where she enjoys yoga, embroidery, reading, and taking care of her houseplants.
